Hello Mateus,
Thank you for writing to us.
Thank you for writing to us.
You will be unable to access your Zoho account ‘mateusresende@gmail.com‘, when you accidentally uninstalled the TOTP enabled application or lost access to it.
We noticed that you have 5 unused backup codes. You can use them for login purpose, if you have any. Refer this link on how to use the saved backup code for login.
If you are unable to follow the above step, we will provide you with a one time backup verification code to access the account. Once you login, you will be able to reset/ change the MFA settings.
To generate the back up code, we request you to produce the below Zoho account related information or documents.

Login to your domain management page propagoou.com.br (Name server – dns-parking.com ) and create a TXT record with the following details,
- Name as ‘ZAC4094590‘ (or leave it blank)
- Value points to domain.zoho.com
- Set TTL to 1 hour (refer this link for detailed steps)
Please provide us with screenshot of the page where you have updated the TXT in your DNS zone file page, such that the URL and domain name is visible. - Please provide us with a screenshot of any automated email which you have received from Zoho (noreply@zoho) such that the sender and recipient email addresses are visible.
The security process will help us validate your profile authenticity and confirm whether the request is legit. Also, this ultimately ensures our customer account and data are always secured.
(Note: We recommend switching to the Zoho OneAuth application as this in-house application supports all the features & functionalities of a TOTP Authenticator, along with effective App-recovery, offline import/ export etc.)
Feel free to write back to us for any further assistance.
